September 18, 2008

Following just 6 months of operations, Live2Sell, Inc. based in Cebu, Philippines is announcing expansion plans to grow by 150% in the next 4 weeks.

The company offers outbound telemarketing, customer service and virtual assistant services to clients in the USA, UK and Australia, along with other countries, and have seen amazing growth potential in the outsourcing sector over the last 4 years, even more so since they established themselves at a new location towards the beginning of the year.

“The expansion that is now underway will bring in another 90 seats, and take our seat count to 150 overall. This is a very exciting time for us, and we are looking forward to continued growth in the business process outsourcing industry in the coming months and years…”, said Cherie Alcuitas, the company’s US Campaign Manager.

The BPO market has seen tremendous growth in the Philippines over the last 5 years, with many of the worlds biggest corporations turning to the country because of the strong English skills of the Filipino people.

Essential Reading

the joy's of reading

the joy of reading

I’m traveling back from Hong Kong, in the airport, and walk into one of the book stores. You know, there are a load of them all over the place selling both Chinese and English magazine and books, etc.

I stroll over to the Business section, as usual, and pick up a copy of The 4-Hour Workweek, thinking to myself “Sounds like a plan…!”. And, it is now.

I must say, I am an avid reading of business, self-help books and I always collate one or two new ones on a business trip. I rarely read them cover to cover however. Generally, I glance through the chapters that I might find interesting at the time or potentially need a little ‘help’ with. However, with this one, I’ve been glued.

After just a few days, I am almost done and have learnt a lot, already put practices into action and am slowly planning my attack on the virtual product selling world of ours to join the New Rich as the author puts it.

I especially liked his ideas about mini-vacations and how the “NR” value mobility. I could defiantly relate to the author, and found myself agreeing with his thoughts and actions most of the time, especially owning and running an outsourcing company myself!

Make sure you pay close attention to pages 166-176 where Tim gives a system for testing a product before putting up money to have it manufactured.

  1. Find a market
  2. Find a need/product in that market
  3. Put up a short sales page online
  4. Put up an order page after the sales page where someone thinks they’re going to buy (but don’t collect their credit card info)
  5. Advertise on Google Adwords
  6. Track sales

Once you’ve done all those things, and become a success and made lots of money – call us! We’ll help you run the company and have all those little vacations…!

Philippine Contact Centers More Profitable!

September 9, 2008

philippines - flying high

Recent tremors in the BPO world show that Philippine contact centers are continuing their transformation from cost centers to profit centers as customers continue to outsource higher-value services, according to callcentres.net research.

The Philippine contact center market currently has almost 130,000 seats, according to callcentres.net figures, with growth expected to reach close to 25% over the next 12 months. The data indicates further offshoring activities or migration of contact center jobs from the US.

“The Philippines has a larger proportion of profit centers,” said William Dieu, senior research analyst for callcentres.net at the Call Center Association of the Philippines (CCAP) conference. “There is a larger proportion of call centers here that have up-selling and cross-selling opportunities, and we expect that to increase in the next few years.”

So, what are you waiting for? Can you afford NOT to get involved and start outsourcing certain parts of your life?

We say ‘no’, and look forward to your call…!
